The winner of the Tom Worthen Memorial award is Katya Pereira who produced a first class essay which was judged by Amy Sedgwick, Callum McLean and wonderfully members of Tom’s family. Well done Katya for an excellent essay.
By way of background we launched an annual essay competition in memory of Tom Worthen who was a much loved and well respected Chancery barrister at Pallant Chambers.
The competition which we will repeat this year is for all undergraduate and postgraduate law students, GDL students and BPTC students.
The entrant who writes the most effective and persuasive argument shall receive £500, and a 3 day mini-pupillage with Pallant Chambers.
The deadline for submissions and further detail of how to enter will be announced in the Autumn.
