Practice Overview
Zara will be commencing her pupillage in January 2027 under the supervision of Felicity Thomas. During her non-practising period, she will be gaining experience in all areas of civil law practised by members of Chambers. She has a particular interest in traditional chancery work, including inheritance and probate disputes.
Prior to commencing pupillage, Zara worked as a County Court Advocate at LPC Law, representing clients in a broad range of civil hearings including, but not limited to, mortgage possessions, landlord and tenant, bankruptcy, and infant settlements. In addition to this, Zara worked as a Court of Protection Paralegal at Guile Nicholas Solicitors where she independently managed her own caseload of health and welfare matters. In this role, she developed substantial drafting experience, regularly preparing court orders and statements of facts and grounds, while also working closely with vulnerable clients. Zara also worked as a Tax Litigation Paralegal at Joseph Hage Aaronson and Bremen LLP where she assisted on complex, international direct tax cases and group litigation orders before the tax tribunals and the High Court.
Zara obtained an undergraduate degree in Spanish and Linguistics before undertaking the MA Law Conversion Course, in which she achieved a Distinction. She subsequently completed the Bar Practice Course, graduating with a High Distinction.
