Qualifications, Memberships & Appointments
Grace completed her Bar Course studies in July 2022 and was awarded a very competent, with some outstanding modules. She is a member of inner temple, and was called to the Bar in March 2023. She holds a 2:1 in her Law with Psychology undergraduate degree from Southampton University.
Practice Overview
Grace joined the Family team in April 2025 following her family pupillage under the joint supervision of Nadia Tawfik and Zosia Keniston.
Grace is building a comprehensive family law practice and accepts instructions in all children matters under the Children Act 1989 and Family Law Act 1996. Grace takes a particular interest in domestic abuse and public law proceedings.
Grace is experienced at dealing with the stressful situations that can arise throughout the Court process, offering an empathetic approach whilst concentrating on achieving the best outcome. She is able to help clients feel at ease, particularly those who are vulnerable. She has already established positive relationships with professional and lay clients alike.
Domestic Abuse
Grace has a busy practice in domestic violence injunctions and regularly represents parties in without notice non-molestation hearings, as well as on notice hearings and return hearings. She has dealt with applications to extend non-molestation orders and is keen to continue accepting instructions in this area.
Children (Public Law)
During her first six, Grace gained experience in: high-risk cases involving significant concerns, including emotional harm, neglect, substance abuse, capacity issues and domestic violence; Non-Accidental Injury cases; complex sexual abuse cases; contested placement applications; residential placements; and secure accommodation units.
Since commencing her second six, Grace has assisted Colin Morgan in a 10-day fact-finding hearing involving serious allegations of non-accidental head injury. Grace was able to grapple with complex medical evidence, and assist in the preparation of documentation ahead of and during the hearing, which involved evidence from multiple expert witnesses.
Grace can accept instructions for drafting documents including schedules of allegations, schedules of evidence and threshold. Grace has assisted with assessing over 30,000 pages of mobile phone disclosure and compiling the relevant information in a mobile phone schedule for use in a high-risk public law case.
Grace is able to accept instructions from any party and throughout her second six, has appeared in various types of hearings, including complex interim care order hearings, case management hearings, issues resolution hearings and discharge of care and placement order hearings.
Children (Private Law)
During her first six, Grace gained experience in cases involving domestic abuse allegations, parental alienation, internal and international relocation, and disputes over vaccinations.
Grace is building her private law practice and is able to accept instructions from both Applicants and Respondents. Since commencing her second six, she has appeared on behalf of parties in respect of ex-parte prohibited steps orders and child arrangements orders; on notice prohibited steps orders and child arrangements orders; and applications to discharge special guardianship orders.
Financial Remedies
During her first six, Grace gained experience in financial remedy proceedings on divorce, including in matters involving the Court’s treatment of personal injury damages.
