Practice Overview

Abigail joined Chambers as a tenant following the successful completion of her pupillage under the supervision of Felicity Thomas.

Abigail accepts instructions within any of chambers’ civil specialisms, with a particular focus on property, traditional chancery, and probate matters. Abigail’s work includes all aspects of litigation, including advising clients, drafting, and court work.

Abigail graduated from Aberystwyth University with a first-class honours degree in English Literature, before going on to study the MA Law (conversion) course and thereafter the Bar Practice Course at The University of Law. Throughout her legal studies, Abigail was awarded two scholarships by Gray’s Inn and in March 2024 was called to the Bar of England and Wales.

Prior to commencing pupillage, Abigail worked as a County Court Advocate where she gained significant experience representing clients in matters including but not limited to: mortgage possessions, landlord and tenant disputes, and infant settlements.

Outside of work Abigail enjoys undertaking various sporting pursuits and is currently training for her first full-Ironman competition having completed a 70.3 previously.

Abigail accepts instructions across the full spectrum of planning law, with an interest supporting local authorities in relation to permitted development and injunctions to prevent unlawful development.
