William is a civil barrister with a common law practice. William has particular experience of personal injury, housing and employment law.
William has been instructed to act in high value personal injury cases and high profile Inquests such Anna Hider and Jeanette Wallace and Derek Ord. William acts for both Claimants and Defendants and regularly advises a large Water Utility Company in respect of defending personal injury claims. He has also acted for and against major companies in relation to employment and discrimination claims and is noted for his expertise in discrimination claims in the Legal 500.
William has also worked closely with Shelter in providing duty advisors to the courts in West Sussex so as to provide advice and assistance to those at risk of losing their homes. William has particular knowledge of homelessness appeals, both acting for and against Local Authorities and has acted as a reviewing officer on behalf of Local Authorities. Williams also has considerable experience and expertise in acting for tenants and local authorities in respect of Anti-Social Behaviour Injunctions and possession action based on Anti Social Behaviour grounds as well as dealing with neighbour disputes.
