| Pallant Chambers is delighted to announce the appointment of new pupils for the years 2009-10 and 2010-11, further strengthening its already impressive range of junior barristers.
Benjamin Birtchnell will join Chambers as a pupil in October 2009. Ben graduated from Trinity College, Oxford in 1995, and then went on to work in business, holding several substantial management/IT consultancy and marketing posts, from which he gained considerable commercial awareness. Ben began his legal studies in 2007, and since then he has been awarded the Walter Wigglesworth Major BVC Scholarship by Lincoln’s Inn, and reached the final of the Sir Louis Gluckstein Advocacy Competition.
Christopher Brookes, meanwhile, will join Chambers as a pupil in October 2010. Chris was awarded an exhibition and the Oldfield Scholarship by Lincoln College, Oxford, before graduating with a first class degree in Law in 2008. He is now completing his legal training in London, where he has been awarded the Cassel Scholarship and the Hardwicke Scholarship by Lincoln’s Inn. |
