Kelly has a substantial Children Act practice, both private and public, and regularly accepts instructions on behalf of parents, guardians and local authorities. Her experience in the criminal courts, working for both prosecution and defence, gives her a particular capacity to deal with family cases involving allegations of domestic violence, physical or sexual abuse, or any matters where findings of fact are sought.

Kelly’s practice also incorporates all aspects of matrimonial finance, including maintenance pending suit, variation and enforcement of orders, as well as contested divorces, cohabitation disputes, and Civil Partnership matters. Instructions are also regularly accepted in applications for emergency relief under both the Family Law Act and Protection from Harassment Act. |
