Clive qualified as a solicitor in 1988 before being called to the Bar in 1998. His practice includes litigation, advisory work and drafting on behalf of local authorities, developers, housing associations, residents’ association and private individuals. He has considerable experience of the following areas of law: Local government, Planning, Judicial Review, Property Law, Professional negligence and Trusts and Estates
Clive regularly trains expert witnesses (Professional Solutions). He lectures and gives papers at conferences including: the Local Government week-end school (Local Government Group); planning and affordable housing (CLT); planning and gypsies/travellers (Professional Solutions, Institute of Environmental Health, Westminster Briefing) and tolerated trespassers (in-house).
