Tom joined Chambers in October 2008 after successfully completing a pupillage within Chambers.
Tom studied Law at Oxford University, where he won a number of prizes and scholarships, and continues to work part-time as Lecturer in Law at Lincoln College, Oxford. He combines this academic ability with proven skill as an advocate, with sound practical common sense, and with the determination to work hard to achieve the best possible result for his clients.
Tom has developed a broad civil Chancery practice, and has appeared successfully in a variety of multi-track and fast track trials in the County Court, as well as making applications in the High Court. Alongside his Court work, he regularly advises and drafts pleadings in a range of difficult land law, contract law, trusts law and inheritance law disputes; one solicitor recently described his draft defence as ‘a masterpiece’.
