Pallant Chambers Business & Employment

Commercial

Chambers’ commercial practitioners have acted and continue to act for some of the South’s largest businesses and many of its local authorities. We are instructed in most areas of commercial law and insolvency including: bankruptcy, corporate insolvency, minority shareholder actions, corporate fraud, directors’ disqualifications, guarantees, consumer credit and restraint of trade.

Some of our barristers specialise in insolvency work and provide both advice and representation in such matters as voluntary arrangements, bankruptcy petitions, winding up petitions, receiverships, liquidations, partnership insolvency and contested statutory demands. They are often involved in litigation to set aside transactions at an undervalue or transactions which defraud creditors.
