Pupillage at Pallant Chambers
We aim to offer one 12 month pupillage each year to applicants with high intellectual ability and the potential to become an excellent advocate. We look for people who are confident and mature, who are capable of working well both independently and with others.
Our policy is only to offer pupillage to those applicants whom we consider to possess the potential to join Chambers as tenants. Accordingly we take great care in our selection process to ensure that candidates have the personal, as well as the intellectual, qualities to fit in to Chambers.
We recognise that pupillage is an extremely important period in the career of any barrister. We therefore take time to ensure that out pupils settle into Chambers comfortably, that they see a wide variety of cases, and that they receive detailed feedback on the work they produce. It is our hope that every pupil we take on will become a real asset to Chambers.
If you wish to apply for pupillage, we ask that you fill in an application form. Completed forms should be sent to Chambers marked ‘For the attention of the Pupillage Committee’, to be received no later than the 7th May 2010. We hope to make offers by 1st August 2010.
